NAME: Colin Low.
OCCUPATION: Chartered Surveyor working for a national charity.
OTHER INTERESTS: Helping to coach the Mini’s at Kinross Rugby, Design for Autism.
YEAR YOU STARTED CURLING: 2000.
JOINED FOSSOWAY BECAUSE: Sid Grant asked if I would play as the club were short of players for the pairs. The rest is history.
CURLING ACHIEVEMENTS: With Fossoway, being part of teams that have won the Wilson Trophy, John Stewart Double Rink Knockout and Kinross Curling's ‘Club Championship’. And with Dunfermline being part of the team that won last year's RCCC Double Rink Championship.
FAVOURITE POSITION WITHIN A CURLING TEAM: Anywhere, including the bar, but drinking Prosecco.
WHAT DO YOU ENJOY ABOUT CURLING: Social and fun with a good level of competition involved.
WHY WOULD YOU RECOMMEND OTHERS TAKE UP THE SPORT: Something different and playing on ice is not as hard as people think.
WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKETLIST: Happiness
SHARE A FAVOURITE JOKE OR QUOTE (if you have one): I realised I was dyslexic when I went to a toga party dressed as a goat.
