Last night we played the second game of Kinross Curling Trust League Division 2, against Tulliallan. Following a very comfortable win in game 1 against Glenrothes, we had been sitting pretty at the top of the table. Would we remain there after last night? The short answer is no.
Alan Paterson was due to skip the game, but is away playing the Masters at Greenacres. In his place was Andy Macpherson, who was promptly offered the chance to skip his first competitive game. Unfortunately, no matter how many stones we got in play (or even in shot position), our opponents regularly found a way to get the points.
Final score 4-12, conceding the game after 7 ends.
